Welcome to Time 'N Track! These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of our time-tracking service. By signing up and using our platform, you agree to comply with these Terms.

1. Account Registration and Data Collection

To use Time 'N Track, you must create an account by providing a valid email address. We only collect and store your email for account management and communication purposes. Providing your name is optional.

2. Free Trial and Subscription

New users are eligible for a free trial. After the trial period ends, a paid subscription is required to continue using the features of Time 'N Track.

3. Data Retention and Deletion

• If you decide not to subscribe after your free trial, your account will remain inactive, but we'll retain your data in case you choose to subscribe later.
• If you cancel an active subscription, you'll retain full access until the end of your billing period. After that your account becomes read-only: you can still open it, view everything in it, and download or export your invoices and time records at any time. You just can't track new time or make changes until you subscribe again.
• Abandoned accounts are eventually deleted. If you never subscribed, that's after 12 months without signing in. If you have ever been a paying customer, it's 24 months, counted from the later of your last sign-in or the end of the period you paid for — your invoices are your records, and we'd rather keep them too long than not long enough. Either way we email you at the address on the account to say it's scheduled for deletion, give you 30 days to come back, and send two further reminders before the date. Signing in at any point cancels the deletion and keeps everything. If you don't, the account and all data in it — tracked time, projects, clients, invoices and account details — are permanently deleted, and we email you to confirm. Accounts with an active or paid-up subscription are never deleted for inactivity.
• You can delete your account yourself at any time from your account settings, which removes your data immediately.
• We may retain limited records for longer where we're required to by law, such as billing and tax records.

4. Payment and Billing

• Subscription fees are billed in advance and are non-refundable.
• We use Stripe as our payment processor. By subscribing, you agree to Stripe's terms of service and payment policies.
• Failure to process a payment may result in account suspension or termination.

5. User Responsibilities

• You agree to use Time 'N Track only for lawful purposes.
• You must not share your account credentials with others.
• We are not responsible for any loss of data due to account misuse.

6. Service Availability

We strive to provide uninterrupted access to Time 'N Track, but we do not guarantee that the service will always be available, error-free, or secure.

7. Modifications to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of Time 'N Track after changes means you accept the revised Terms.
